Agape Prayer Ministry
(APM) is an in-depth ministry to assist persons who are not living up to their potential in Christ so that can move forward and be and become the persons that God intends for His children. It is an opportunity for a person to receive a time of focused and intensive prayer through the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit so the recipient may receive freedom and healing in their lives.
This ministry is carried out by a man and a woman trained
to administer APM in a loving, methodical, and healing way. These persons allow both the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit to fulfill His purposes. As possible, another person of the same sex as the counselee is there in intercessory pray.
APM is not a counseling session, but an opportunity for a person to receive ministry through prayer. The recipient reviews a Spiritual bondage sheet and identifies areas in their lives where they have been exposed to and participated in sinful activities. The recipient is then guided through prayers for forgiveness, deliverance (as needed), and healing. Following this, primary relationships of the person are discussed and areas of woundedness are identified. The recipient then receives ministry to bring healing and freedom in each of the wounded areas.
This includes:
- Forgiving the offender,
- Confession of one’s own
sins, - Breaking down of
strongholds, - Identification of
unclean spirits and deliverance from them, - Healing prayers, and
- A new infilling of the
Holy Spirit – His fruits and gifts.
